Brianna decided she wanted to have a swimming party at the new hotel in town... Stoney Creek Inn. The reason for this is because they have a pool where you can swim inside, or swim through a "waterfall" and end up swimming outside!! How cool is that in February??!
She invited seven friends to come swimming and have cake, then four of them spent the night with us in the suite we had booked for the night. Luckily I have a friend that is a manager at this hotel! I was able to get a really good discount on our suite!!! (Thanks, Sami!!) The suite Brianna picked out for her party consisted of a king-size bed (for me!), an oversized bunkbed, and even the couch in the living room area folded out to a bed! Brianna and her friends went swimming all night long! When it came close to the pool's closing time, we went back to our room and watched movies til they fell asleep. They were all asleep before midnight, believe it or not!! The swimming for hours on end must have wore them out!! The next morning, we dressed and went down to one of the hotel's banquet rooms for breakfast, then back up to the room and the girls decorated tote bags that Brianna had given them while I packed everything up to get ready to check out. Everyone was very well behaved and it was a great time! Just wish the weather would have cooperated so Grandma could have made it to the party and enjoyed the hotel with us!!! There's always "next time", Grandma!!
